Sutton Coldfield Marquetry Group was formed almost 20 years ago and is now a thriving group with an increasing membership. We meet in Curdworth Church Hall on the third Thursday of each month at 8pm and attract a regular band of keen members.  Curdworth has excellent road links and is easily accessible from most parts of the West Midlands.

The club evenings take a practical format with occasional demonstrations and experienced marquetarians and beginners are most welcome. In addition we also hold regular beginners courses and this is an ideal way to sample the craft and learn the basic techniques. We have accumulated a large selection of veneers and the group shop stocks most basic marquetry needs
