Ernie Ives
was a genuinely unique character in the annuls of the Marquetry Society.

To say that he was a kingpin in the running and communications side of the society is putting it mildly - without Ernie's input the Marquetry Society wouldn't be a tenth of what it is today.

Ernie Ives is and will be missed by everyone who has enjoyed marquetry in all its forms.

To celebrate the work and life of our own 'Ern' we bring you a small gallery of just a sample from some of his prodigous marquetry output.

We hope to build this up to a full and hopefully complete Ernie Ives gallery in time, for now, as the saying goes - please enjoy
